WAY BACK WHEN (in pictures) --JulyBlogChallenge #bloggingthroughJuly #summerchallenge

For a followup to yesterday's post about cameras and changes in technology, I thought it was the perfect time to share some old family photos that tell the story of me.  Forgive the quality, but enjoy the trip down memory lane.

I had to start with my parents since they are the reason that I exist.

This is my dad (on the left) with his mother and younger brothers.  I have the honor of being named after her.  Oh, how I wish I had known her.

This is a picture of my mom's family.  My mom is the little girl on the right.  She's just as mischievous as she looks.

For some reason, I seem to have zero pictures of my brother and I growing up.  I know pictures exist so I am not sure why I have none.  Strange.

A picture of our wedding party:

And a picture of "The Group":

Fast forward a few years . . .

My oldest daughters:

Two became three:

The sisters were proud when we added a brother.  They came to meet him as soon as they could.  Bis Sister buttons, matching dresses, and all.

I really did used to be skinny.

Church directory photo when the Eagle Scout is just 3 weeks old:

And we added the finale:

Deacon Ordination for the MainMost -- what a typical picture with no one looking in the same direction:

Kindergarten Graduation of the Eagle Scout and the Princess:

Oh, my, how time flies.  Thanks for walking "way back when" with me through pictures.

  1. Enjoyed seeing your pictures! I have very few pictures of my growing up years because I moved so far away and Mom has all the originals.
