Y’all are going to love this.  You know how much fun we’ve had with all of the paint Stix from The Pencil Grip, Inc.?   Well, guess what?  They have now added bright, colorful Magic Stix Washable Markers  that WON’T DRY OUT for SEVEN days even if your little loves accidentally leave the caps off — and that's GUARANTEED.  How’s that for creative magic?

We had the opportunity to try out the 12-pack for Christmas and have recently welcomed the 24-pack into our lives.  These things are super cool.  My daughter says they are "really smooth" markers -- perfect for drawing, coloring, and writing.  She loves them so much that she tried to confiscate them and whisk them away to her room almost immediately.  She is the doodle queen as she listens to music or watches TV and I like seeing her finished products.  I like how she uses all of the different colors to express her moods and thoughts.

The 24-pack contains a wide variety of colors with multiple shades in each color group.  I am especially appreciative of the clear plastic carrying case because it snaps shut and helps us to avoid spills.  The handle makes moving the creativity from the kitchen table to the bedroom easy-peasy as we prepare for family meals or straighten up for company.  I know you fellow homeschoolers understand exactly what I mean, right?  Convenience is a HUGE plus in my book.

Although my daughter is not such a little love anymore, I do like that there is absolutely no odor when using these markers and that they are washable.  Accidental markings still happen to teenagers and even though she uses a lapboard in her bed, when the dog jumps up and causes the Magic Stix to roll and mark a bit on her sheets, she can easiily throw the sheets in the wash with no worries.  As you can see from her masterpieces above and below, the colors are bright and beautiful.  The bold nature of the markers make her work really pop.  She likes that she can use the various colors for shading to give her work depth.  

Another thing that makes these markers stand out from the rest is the fact that even if you leave the caps off, they don't immediately dry out.  They are guaranteed to be just fine for 7 days without a cap.  Although we didn't do a field test on that ourselves, several of my Crewbies did and they say it's quite amazing.  In addition, the Magic Stix are non-toxic and the caps are vented for safety.  I like that they aim to keep my family safe and content.  

The Pencil Grip, Inc. has easily become one of our favorite family resources in recent years and we are always excited to see what fun they will come up with next.  You might remember that we fell in love with their Kwik Stix a few years ago and then we had tons of fun with the Thin Stix 6 pk of Classic Colors back in the Spring.  We enjoyed creating art with the Thin Stix Creativity Pack when they added brights and metallics and now we are thrilled to have added the Magic Stix Washable Markers to the family art supply closet.  We love creating art with all the neat products from The Pencil Grip, Inc.
