NIV Bible for TEEN GIRLS {review & giveaway} #NIVBibleforTeenGirls #flyby

If I have heard the word "drama" come out of my 9th grader's mouth once, I've heard it at least 1,000 times.  Her life is packed with drama -- much  of it real and some of it perceived.  Being a teenager is tough.  Being a teenage girl is more than tough.  But GOD's Word offers HOPE -- and promises PEACE.  No matter what the world throws your way, GOD's Word never changes.  THAT is exactly what my heart desires for my girl to know and understand.

I am thrilled to be able to put this new NIV Bible for Teen Girls in her hands.  Girls need to be reminded that there is so much more.

FAITH
HOPE
LOVE
These three small words hold such incredible promise.  In a world of topsy-turvy drama, GOD provides them all.  I want my daughter to grow in grace and hold on tightly to her FAITH, to always have HOPE, and to know that when all else seems lost, there is LOVE.

Filled with insight that speaks directly to the heart of life the NIV BIBLE for Teen Girls offers girls a beautiful opportunity to make GOD's Word their very own.  Feminine and functional, each of the Books begins with an introduction that shares the time period it was written, the people you will, and special verses you might recognize.

Book Introductions

There are special segments throughout that introduce girls to important women of the Bible and there are devotional reading for each day to help girls grow in FAITHHOPE, and LOVE.  I especially like the highlighted verses (in a lovely shade of rose) that draw your attention to words of promise that are good to study and commit to memory.  They act as a springboard for my girl to read, and ponder over, and study.  I really like that this Bible makes it easy to say YES to digging into to GOD's Word.

Features that make this Bible even more special
The entire Bible is beautiful and helps makes a great transition from "little girl" to "big girl".  This is a Bible that our daughters and nieces and granddaughters and friends are going to gravitate toward and cherish.  It is pretty;  it is classy;  it is real.  There is definitely someone in your life who could use this Bible.  What a great Christmas present it will be!

  1. Who would I share this with? Ack! I would likely let all of my girls "share" this? As a family we use the NKJV and at church we use ESV. I love using more than one translation for studying so they could add this in to their Bible study/devotional time.
