Piet Mondrian was a Dutch painter who developed the neoplasticism art form. This art consisted of a white background with a horizontal and vertical grid of black lines and three primary colors used inside the grid.
We've made Mondrian prints before at Camp ShadyRest and they are always fabulous -- simple, with a pop of color. The Princess was recently inspired to create a variation on the Mondrian print that we choose to call Royal Mondrian Askew. Enjoy!
I'm joining the Virtual Refrigerator Blog Hop to share creativity unleashed.
Be sure to visit and check out some of the other neat projects by some pretty great kids.
Love it! Thanks for sharing on the Virtual Fridge! Mondrian has been popular this month. :-)
ReplyDeleteCool! I'd never heard of this artist until Kym introduced him.
