My favorite quote will come as no big surprise to you.  It's become so much a part of my life -- from how I signed every letter I ever wrote for YEARS to initials on my car tag and now the title of my blog.

This Day Has Great Potential!

And it began innocently enough when I was in the midst of teenage angst and I thought life was too hard to handle.  A sweet high school friend shared this simple quote with me and I grabbed ahold of it with both hands and refused to let it go.  I staked my claim and held on tight and it has seen me through years and years of hardship and heartache and encouragement and life.

Because EVERY day has the potential to be the BEST day of your life.  I have learned to look for the GREAT POTENTIAL in every day.  GOD holds out HIS hands for me and offers us beauty and love and I accept.


This Day Has Great Potential!
