Celebrate good times, come on!  

Yes, you can thank me now.  I can't get that tune out of my head either.  No matter how many times I think about the celebration that is today, the old Kool & the Gang song comes to mind.  There's a party going on right here -- it's a happy birthday party.

Happy, happy birthday America!  We are celebrating your party with you.  

Are you celebrating and having a good time today?  What does your Independence Celebration look like?  Are there burgers on the grill?  Hot dogs sizzling?  What about watermelon slices or homemade ice cream churning?  

It's going to be a laid back day for us today.  We spent a good portion of yesterday lazing on the river with friends.  There was good food, great conversation, a few fireworks, and even an American flag cake.  

And today we rest.

No matter how you celebrate, I pray you celebrate big.  

I hope you laugh.  I hope you dream.  I hope you enjoy.  I hope you pray.  America deserves it.
