So Proud of the Blue Crew

I love LEGO robotics.  We've been a part of it for almost 10 years now.  (Just typing those words makes my heart skip a beat.)  10 years is a long time -- and all 4 of my kids have now had the opportunity to learn about Gracious Professionalism and Coopertition through research, public speaking, science & technology, and hands-on fun.  (with a good bit of pressure and real-time problem-solving skills thrown into the mix)

It's been good life training, great skill-building, and SUPER fun.  We laughed over the many different characters played and costumes worn through the years on the ride home from our Regional Qualifier this weekend -- and we discussed what they've learned about life through research assignments and presentation acting.  They've learned to follow through on deadlines and how to speak knowledgably off-the-cuff.  They've shared laughter and disappointment, tears and exultation.  And that is why we continue.  

Winning is fun.  Life is real.  These are skills for a winning life.
