This dog just makes me smile. His favorite game of ALL time is fetch. He will literally play for HOURS.
I don't think you can tell in this picture, but this is no ordinary stick he's bringing back. Nope--it's a baseball bat.
And he's waiting patiently for my boy to throw it again. Wagging tail, eager anticipation.
Am I ever that excited when waiting for JESUS? Do I dare spend that much time in anticipation of what HE will do next in my world?
Through this season of Advent, I aim to remember and draw close to the ONE who loves me unconditionally. I aim to anticipate time with HIM.
