That Boy Scout Can Cook

It was his night to cook supper and we had a lovely meal of hamburgers and French fries.  He has a "special ingredient" that he puts in several of the things he cooks -- Tony's Seasoning.  I think that must be a Boy Scout trick, but it made our burgers quite tasty.

Tomorrow night the Junior will cook and she has chicken spaghetti and garlic bread on her menu plan.  We'll eat at church on Wednesday night (roast chicken and potatoes) and the Princess will cook Thursday night.  She has crockpot cubed steaks, rice and cornbread on her menu plan.

That leaves me free to enjoy the fruits of their labor until Friday when I'll be cooking up another Pinterest find -- Wolfpack Special Sliders.  I sure do enjoy this cooking plan that gives everyone a chance to improve their culinary skills and gives this mom a break.  Life is good.

  1. My son's (not so secret ingredient) in his burgers and meatloaf is lime juice. It is tasty but strange.
