I am a slug. Or at least I have been. I'm working very hard NOW not to be such a slug but it's hard to change those sluggish ways. BUT I AM working to change them. You know that bread I showed you yesterday? It was super good and I only had a VERY small piece -- the end piece of course, because it's my favorite.
So, what am I doing to change my sluggish ways? I'm exercising more. And drinking water. LOTS of water. Doesn't this look delicious? I'm drinking so much water I might float away. But water is GOOD for the SOUL.
I'm making a decision to walk on my treadmill every day. I've had the treadmill for quite some time but I've not used it regularly like I should. I've used it sporadically, at best, and have allowed it to be a clothes gatherer at times. I've even loaned it out to other folks who wanted to be healthier than me. BUT now, thanks to my techie MainMost, I've figured out how to watch movies on my iPad as I walk. And not just any movies, mind you. I'm watching movies that make me want to do better and be better -- for myself, my family, and my JESUS.
This week, while I've walked, I've watched Hungry for Change and Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead. They make healthy look good and inspire me to be better.
I aim to be different,
to be less sluggish,
to be more alive
and to be filled with water -- LIVING WATER.
Don't you realize that your body is the temple of the HOLY SPIRIT, who lives in you and was given to you by GOD? You do not belong to yourself, for GOD bought you with a high price. So you must honor GOD with your body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
