Can you SEE what you READ?

seenread

We entered the school year at Long Leaf Academy with one main goal--to make every one of the McBlessings a true READER.  My high school daughters enjoy reading and I find there are times when I cannot pull them away from their latest books.  In my opinion, that is a GREAT thing (except when I need them to unload the dishwasher!).  My son reads, but does not always enjoy it.  I am constantly looking for something to really grab his interest and keep it.   My youngest daughter is NOT a reader.  She is behind in reading skills and we are working hard to catch her up--among other things, she has a twice a week "Reading Club" that has greatly improved her reading.

See n ReadThe See-N-Read Reading Tools have been an EXCELLENT way to get both of my struggling readers to READ.  "See-N-Read® is a research-based reading intervention tool designed to help readers reduce word- and line-skipping and pattern glare, enabling them to improve fluency and comprehension."   Both the See-N-Read Tool and the MemoryMark Tool are smoky grey plastic cards with a clear window for reading one line at a time.  The MemoryMark tool has a cut out window so you can highlight or take notes without moving the reading tool.  Not only are they FUN to use, they keep the eyes focused on exactly what is being read.  This has helped my younger children to enjoy reading and comprehend more of what they read.

I have enjoyed using it as I read my Bible for the "90-Day Challenge" as well.  I have begun noticing that my eyes are struggling to focus--argh! The See-N-Read has been perfect for helping me keep my focus as I read through my Bible.  AND since I am most definitely an "underliner," the MemoryMark is perfect for keeping my lines straight and my notes in the right place.  I have also made much use of the eSee-N-Read on my computer.  It looks just like the other two reading tools, but is on my computer screen and can be used on as many different websites as needed at one time.

See-N-Read offers three different reading tools with prices beginning at $2.99.  The See-N-Read Reading Tool and the MemoryMark Reading Tool both come in two different sizes:  Book Size is 5.5 inches x 3 inches  and Document size is 8.5 inches x 3 inches.  You can purchase these in one, three, ten and twenty-five packs.  The eSee-N-Read electronic reading tool for use on your computer is $29.95 and can also be purchased with a multi-user license.   Click HERE to order your See-N-Read tool right now and use it to open up a whole new world of reading fun to your family.
