I serve in the local church as Children's and Middle School Minister and I enjoy sharing great resources for kids and families to use to really begin to understand the big picture of GOD's Word. The 10 Minute Bible Journey walks you through Creation to Revelation in 52 chapters that can be read and studied together in just 10 minutes a day.
This 209-page book offers a fast-paced, apologetics-infused summary of the major events in the Bible that explains just how wonderful a life with JESUS really is. It is chronologically organized with beautiful illustrations that catch your attention as they bring home the knowledge that GOD is who HE says HE is -- and that HE loves you in spite of who you are. Infused with simple to understand, yet powerful truths, The 10 Minute Bible Journey offers an in-depth look at the Bible itself. Each chapter shares primary supporting Scripture from across the Old and New Testaments, highlights a key verse, and offers a wrap-up prayer perfect for the entire family.
What I like is that families with littles can read through the chapter together, families with middles and olders can take Bible study a step further by adding a study of the primary passages, and everyone can join together with Scripture memory by learning the key verse. This is a such great resource and can be used in a multitude of ways. By reading through the book, families get a solid overview of the entire Bible.
A Bible reading plan is included at the end of the book that encourages reading the entirety of God's Word and there are even tips included for family and/or small group Bible study. The final pages of the book include an extensive end note resource section that further expounds upon what you are learning in each chapter. This is simply phenomenal.
